Oakville wins EDCO Award of Excellence

The Oakville Opportunities and Investments Virtual Tour received a 2018 EDCO Award of Excellence in the category of Promotional Awards, Technology & New Media.
Oakville’s virtual tour is an interactive investment attraction tool combining text, authoritative mapping, and multimedia to provide an overview of the latest development activity, infrastructure investment, and opportunities for business growth.
The EDCO's Awards of Excellence program aims to recognize and celebrate the outstanding work in economic development happening around the province of Ontario. Award submissions received are evaluated by an expert panel of judges with experience in marketing, communications, tourism and industrial/commercial development.
Oakville Economic Development staff was presented with the award during the Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO) Annual Conference and Showcase in Toronto on January 31.
